Welcome, to my SimsLIFE

This website is dedicated to my SimsLIFE. I have a passion for The Sims franchise since I was young. I first started to play The Sims 4 when I was around ten years old.

The Sims 4 Bustin Out for the Game Boy Advance was my very first Sims game I was allowed to play. It amazed me at just how much a Sim could fit into their pocket, need to take a fridge with you? No problem, just select and deposit. Need to repair an object for a quest, just click and drop. Even to this day it amazes me at just how amazing this game was.

My first PC game was The Sims 3, The Sims 3 will always be special for me because I got it the day it released, June 2nd 2009 a day after my birthday, for it’s time the game was far advanced anything I had played to that point. I remember getting the game and not being able to play it on my computer as it took a DVD drive to install. So I had to either play it on our Vista laptop (Which ran the game horiably, even worse than you think) or I had to wait till the weekend at night when I could play it on my moms computer. So weekend nights were always fun, though soon my Sims started having dreams of owning a hot tub, but there were no hot tubs in the game, that always confused me. It wasn’t until 2011 when I started following EP’s and SP’s for The Sims 3.

The Sims 4 Late Night. This was new to me, I never knew that Sims games had “bonus” packs you could purchase to get more content.I only had to see the hot tub on the package to know I needed the pack. This added a new world to my game, Bridgeport, which is also the name of a shopping mall where I live. I really didn’t care for Vampires as they were more annoying than anything.

It wasn’t until The Sims 4 Generations that I started to actively follow The Sims franchise. The Sims 3 Generations was the very first DLC I was able to purchase on the day it released. I remember being so excited about getting this Expansion Pack, from the announce date April 5th to it’s release date May 31st and having to wait that long to get something, keep in mind I had never followed The Sims franchise at this point, so I wasn’t use to waiting for DLC or games to be released.

Then came The Sims 4, which at the time of writing this is the current generation of The Sims. I’ve loved playing The Sims 4 since it released. The lack of content has never really made me not want to play the game. I got the game when it first released back in 2014, September 2nd. I remember being so excited for The Sims 4 to be released that I used a VPN program to gain access early as the game was released in Asia at that point. The game has let me live the life I wish I could live, from being an internet celebrity to owning my own restaurant I can do it all with The Sims and I simply cannot wait to see what EA/Maxis have in store for us in the coming year.
